The Rural Housing Information System
(RHIS)
The Rural Housing Information System (RHIS) is a tool that aids municipalities, developers, and homebuilders in planning and developing affordable housing in rural communities. It provides data-driven insights, including demographic trends, homelessness count, average home price, market rental information, building permit data, zoned and developable land, municipal building incentives, waivers, grants, assets, and amenities. The system also allows for comparison of municipalities’ data.
All data on the RHIS is specialized for rural communities and separated urban areas are subtracted from the data displayed.
